Celebrating our history on Salem’s historic waterfront that has included shipbuilders, sailmakers, distillers, and a
paper stamper. The property dates to the 1650s. It was once home to Benjamin Hawkes. Learn about the Ukrainian
Working Man’s Association.

Dr. Mary Frances Zawadzki presents her research celebrating our site history dating to 1650 on Salem’s historic waterfront that has included ship builders, sail makers, distillers, a paper stamper, home to Benjamin Hawkes, and the Ukrainian Working Man’s Association. Lecture takes place Saturday April 30 from 1-2 PM and Sunday May 1 from 1-2 PM.
